thanx for ur help i just gave user permissions to the file i create as ROOT ...... I think I've fainted.

ok .... thanx but i was clear asking how i can run MPD as user ..........  
this is my mpd.conf .....can u tell me whats wrong i also change all the MPD files to my user by doing a ( CHOWN ) its just wont start as user

i really wish someone explain me why i can never use MPD as user .... i have try many HOWTO'S Linux/Unix

Should be relevant. If you're using debian, you might need to change the 'pulse' line in this guide to 'alsa'
